Growth Continues: AIM Institute’s Mold Maintenance Center of Excellence
Erie, PA – The American Injection Molding (AIM) Institute is thrilled to highlight Nick O’Toole as one of the newest recipients of its “Excellence in Mold Maintenance” recognition. This honor is given to students who complete all Mold Maintenance courses offered through the AIM Institute.

Nick, a Lead Process Engineer at Beaumont Advanced Processing (BAP), has successfully completed our comprehensive program. He’s one of just two graduates this year, marking a significant accomplishment. His coursework has equipped him with the latest maintenance techniques, seamlessly blending practical skills with thorough documentation practices.
Glenn Keith, a lead instructor at AIM’s Mold Maintenance Center of Excellence (MMCE), shared his perspective: “I’m so proud of our graduates’ commitment to their craft. They don’t just increase their skills; they also develop an analytical mindset and a positive attitude. These attributes are absolutely essential to be effective in our field of Mold Maintenance.”
Nick himself commented on the direct impact of the training: “What I learned in AIM’s Mold Maintenance courses went beyond the classroom and allowed me to expand my career. I have been promoted to the Lead Process Engineer and now manage the Mold Maintenance department for my area. These courses equipped me with systematic approaches to troubleshoot complex mold issues at BAP, making a difference in our uptime and overall part quality.
As AIM celebrates its 10-year anniversary, we continue looking ahead, and are focused at expanding our reach and impact. One key initiative is the development of a one-year Injection Mold Maintenance apprenticeship program. Stay tuned for more details, visit us at aim.institute.
