When a person attends all of the Mold Maintenance courses, they earn recognition by receiving the AIM Institute’s Excellence in Mold Maintenance Certificate highlighting an individual’s commitment to their trade.
Mold Maintenance, Troubleshooting & Repair
This course is designed for a wide range of maintenance personnel, including apprentices to the 20 year repair technician. Students will learn a structured approach to mold maintenance, standard terminology and their application, and proper documentation strategies.
Hot Runner Troubleshooting & Repair
Attendees will learn how various hot runner systems function, along with various troubleshooting and repair techniques for electrical and leaking issues, for example.

Mold Component Welding, Polishing & Repair
Students learn to repair mold components, such as gate inserts and cores/cavities using a variety of welding and polishing techniques.
Mold Texture & Repair
This course provides a hands-on experience entirely focused on the mold texturing industry. Students will apply and repair texture to tool steel.
