AAS Degree with a Concentration in Plastics Injection Molding
In partnership with Pennsylvania Western University (PennWest), the American Injection Molding Institute (AIM) is proud to be a part of an Associate of Applied Science (AAS) degree with a concentration in Plastics Injection Molding.
By adding the courses taught at the American Injection Molding Institute, students will become efficient in plastics engineering and design, injection molding processing, and Autodesk Moldflow simulation. The curriculum is designed with the student in mind, with a focus on real-world applications and industry-based outcomes. The student experience is a combination of classroom and online instruction, coupled with hands-on learning. Courses are held at the AIM Institute (Erie, PA), the PennWest campus of your choice (Edinboro, Clarion, California, or the Global Online Campus).
In addition, students who already completed any of the AIM Institute’s programs that are accredited to the ANSI/ASTM E2659 standard will automatically have those credits applied toward this degree.
What’s in it for you?
Not only will you earn an AAS-AT degree, but you will also earn the:
- Plastics Technology & Engineering (PT&E) Certificate accredited to ANSI/ASTM E2659
