American Injection Molding Institute to Receive Fifth Consignment Machine
The American Injection Molding Institute (AIM), a subsidiary of Beaumont Technologies, Inc., is set to receive its fifth machine on consignment from the Sodick Injection Molding Machinery Division at Plustech, Inc. this coming October. AIM and Plustech have been corporate partners since 2017. The 5-year partnership has provided educational opportunities for plastics professionals coming to AIM to learn about injection molding processing.
The Sodick machine provides unique insight to AIM students. For some, the Sodick is the first 2-stage plunger style molding machine they have encountered. The exposure to newer, different machines demonstrates how a variety of designs can provide niche solutions and approaches to injection molding.
Corporate sponsors that partner with AIM, such as Plustech, are finding that their equipment is being seen by a much more focused audience through AIM’s classes than what is typically found at sales/trade shows or through consignment with various universities. Many of the students who work with the consignment machines at AIM have direct influence on machine purchasing decisions at their companies. The collaboration between Plustech, AIM, and AIM students is mutually beneficial, and supports the mission of revolutionizing the plastic injection molding industry and its professionals. AIM is grateful for Plustech’s long term partnership and is looking forward to hosting the latest machine.
