AIM Hosted Off-site Injection Molding Training

ELK GROVE VILLAGE, Ill. (Aug. 18, 2022) — Plustech Inc., will host the American Injection Molding Institute’s (AIM) upcoming Injection Molding Training for a two-day course on August 31 and September 1, 2022 at its new, state of the art 138,000 square foot North America headquarters, 111 Northwest Point Boulevard, in Elk Grove Village, Illinois, located just ten minutes from Chicago’s O’Hare International airport.

“We are very happy to partner with AIM to host Injection Molding Training in the Chicago area,” said
Kohei Shinohara, Vice President, Plustech Inc. “This is exactly the type of knowledge sharing and
thought leadership we had in mind when we designed a classroom space within the new headquarters,
and we’re honored to work with AIM to host our first training together.”

This machine-side and classroom training will be led by David Rose, Senior Instructor, American Injection Molding Institute, and is an opportunity for those in the Midwest to participate in AIM-led education & training course in the Chicago area, without having to travel onsite to AIM, in Erie, PA. Participants will learn the fundamentals of injection molding processing and strategies for process development, documentation, and troubleshooting; an overview of various methods for identifying ideal fill times; uses of simulation in process development.

“This course will benefit both those new to injection molding and seasoned veterans,” said David
Hoffman, Director of the American Injection Molding Institute. “Our approach to intertwining the
material, mold design, and part design coupled with the science and ‘why’s’ behind injection molding
naturally help build a more solid foundation for troubleshooting.”

As an injection molding machine industry leader that has been doing business in North America for nearly 20 years, Plustech Inc. is a joint venture between SODICK Company Limited, and Yamazen Corporation. Plustech has made a commitment to delivering the highest quality machines, the strongest technical support, and the most experienced service team to ensure its customers’ profitability and competitive edge toward productivity in the high-demand injection molding manufacturing industry.

A former AIM student, Bradley Bidinger, who attended the same Injection Molding Training course in Charlotte in 2019 had this to say,

“The course was great in not only explaining how injection molding
machines work, but also how the process settings are established.”

The two-day training includes breakfast and lunch both days, and costs $1,770. For more information or to register, please visit www.aim.institute/courses/injection-molding, or visit on the web at www.plustech-inc.com.
