The American Injection Molding (AIM) Institute provides education and training to the plastic injection molding industry.
AIM was founded by John Beaumont, Plastics Hall-of-Famer and former chair of the Plastics Engineering Technology program at Penn State Erie, which he also helped develop and establish.
Every program offered at AIM is based on the latest research available, much of which is conducted within our own walls. We work very closely with our customers, including those of our parent company Beaumont Technologies, to understand the industry’s knowledge gaps and develop educational content that fills those needs.
The AIM Institute has programs and courses for professionals from nearly all industry backgrounds and levels of experience.
- For a comprehensive, accredited, plastics education: Plastics Technology and Engineering Certificate Program
- For injection molding processors: Molders’ Series
- For 2-day, subject specific seminars: Development Courses
- For simulation analysts: Autodesk® Moldflow® Courses
We are headquartered in Erie, Pennsylvania at 6100 West Ridge Road.
The mission of the American Injection Molding (AIM) Institute, LLC is to help advance the injection molding industry by striving to deliver the highest quality, high-level educational programs to practicing professional involved in the design, development, and manufacture of plastic parts.
