The American Injection Molding (AIM) Institute introduces a new type of educational experience to help advance the injection molding industry by providing high-level educational and training programs founded in science, engineering, and technology. The institute’s offerings include both tested and non-tested courses and programs delivered by some of the most recognized professionals and educators in the industry.
The AIM Institute was founded by Professor John Beaumont, inventor of MeltFlipper® Technology and President of Beaumont Technologies. John also helped develop the Plastics Engineering Technology program at Penn State Erie and served as its long-time Chair. In 2014, after 25 years of educating students about injection molding, Beaumont retired from the University to focus on his efforts on advancing the industry by expanding his Beaumont companies and developing the AIM Institute as a leading educational and research resource.
The AIM Institute’s educational offerings are designed for plastics professionals with a wide range of skill levels and job functions and range from two- and three-day development courses to intensive certificate programs. AIM is also an Authorized Moldflow® Training Center and offers the same courses as Autodesk® but taught by AIM Instructors.
