AIM’s expansion supports its mission to advance the industry by offering its services to professionals worldwide within their own regions. This expansion directly supports the growing injection molding industry in Latin America, where companies are increasingly establishing engineering and R&D centers. “AIM is known for its excellence in education and training for the plastics industry. I am excited to be a part of this expansion by offering these courses to the Latin American market,” said Daniel Lopez, who will lead this new initiative as part of AIM’s instructors. Lopez brings 28 years of industry experience in plastics, including process engineering, new product implementation, and as an instructor.

The first course, Injection Molding, is scheduled for November 11-12, 2025, at the ENGEL de Mexico facility in Querétaro, Mexico. In addition to regularly scheduled public courses, Daniel Lopez is also available for private in-house training at your company’s facility.

David Hoffman, Director of the AIM Institute, commented on the significance of this milestone. “It’s been a remarkable year for AIM as we celebrate our 10-year anniversary. In January, we unveiled our 2-year college degree program. And now, with Daniel Lopez, we are expanding our campus into Latin America. Our mission is extended internationally with direct representation and courses offered in Spanish. Our first official course begins this November, and we are excited for students to experience the difference now in-person!”
